Agreed. Although after having my ebay account for 11 years and only
having a feedback rating of 27 - lots of stuff from the same sellers
and a few sellers miffed about less than favourable feedback has kept
it lower than it otherwise might've been so I'll 'suffer' from this
policy next time I sell something I suspect.

It's a pity that such security policies turn out to be so profitable;
21 * new_sellers_listings * avg_sale_price is quite a kitty I suspect
- more than enough to cover their policing costs ;-)

Unfortunately there's no incentive for them to have some transparency
around this since they *are* the market, and can effectively hold
sellers to ransom.
