Yeah, and out of the corner of your eye, 50hz stuff flickers REAL
nastily. [Easy to demonstrate this with a GS- set monitor refresh to
50hz; it's safe to do this even in the US setups, though the vertical
position and holds may need to be tweaked.] PAL gives you a few more
rows of resolution, but I hate that flicker.
TVs are relatively very old tech compared to what RGB monitors can
do nowadays; hopefully, sooner rather than later, they'll get
replaced. Of course, TV stations, etc will go kicking and
screaming...
