I thought that it  will happen. These InfiniDim guys walked
right into the sacred creative halls of our beloved Hitchhiker's
Guide. Depressing, isn't it?

Like moths are always attracted by the light, the
smell of money will always attract a certain kind of people
and I don't really know if this will be good or harmful for the
whole company. Yes, the money will be appreciated but I am
a little worried about the thought that these people hold
now stocks of the Guide who have the hardest elbow-policy of
all, who have sold low-quality products, who have distributed
a product which look suspiciously similar to the Guide's own
product, who have not cared much about good customer support
and have plagued us with the Sirius Cybernetics marketing
management instead.

Since there is no way to keep certain people out unless the
Guide changes his concept of being a stock corporation, we
have only two choices: Boycott the Guide or watch certain
persons closely. The fact that not only the financial
leader but also the spiritual leader has returned  to the
holy halls of the Guide gives some hope. Let's hope that
the spirit of the Guide won't be sacrificed again on the
altar of market growth.

If a company makes again the mistake to neglect their
customer base and an elite class of vendors starts to sell
products of elite programmers only to a rich elite customer
class, if user information and user happiness fade, if young
newcomers are scared by the unique manners of the Vogon
Constructor fleets, if greedy managers suck and suck and
never invest and if the Guide becomes bloated and corrupt once
more, then it's time to remember again the three tools of
power which can even bring an empire down to its knees:

Hardware cloning, piracy and boycott!
