Dan--
Slow down and read a little more carefully. I did not say you
were involved in priracy and Nathan's post did not either. I simply
said that Nathan's response was out of line unless he was responding
to such a situation. I was speaking in your behalf asking people to
be civil. I was talking in the hypothetical. _If_ you were involved
with piracy the response might be appropriate. I could not see any
other context in which it would be appropriate. However, your
response,
:This newsgroup is *way* out of control. The little clique of
:self-righteous assholes, and you know who you are, PLEASE start your own
:"moderated" group. Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.
:The rest of us will get on with our lives.
suggests that maybe there is one other context. Nathan seems to be
talking to you in a language you understand well.
I apologize for speaking up for you and for giving you the benefit of
the doubt.
