apple IIc info

My sister just moved and got an apple IIc with the aparment and I told
her I'd figure out how to use it, I would appriciate any info.

Can you boot MS-DOS on an apple?
How do you list the files?
How do you run the programs (some of them boot to a BASIC prompt)?
Does anybody have any old Apple IIc manuals that I could have?
Does anybody know a good place to get apple shareware?

These are the kind of things I am looking for.
