And as with any other MS standard, look for it to be chock full of limitations 
and exceptions that will wreak compatibility havoc on your mind...

Yep, our dell laptops have the same feature, and EVERY manufacturer has a 
different way of doing it. Unfortunately, one BIG problem with doing it is 
that other real OS's like NT would freak if you tried something like that.

Try doing this on a standard 
run-o-the-mill-mail-order-buy-one-today-or-off-the-shelf-pc and you will fry 
the ps/2 port.

Apple will never get my money for hardware.... ever again. The ripped me off 
with my GS purchase, and I will never forgive them.

But the point is the thought of a new OS with the mac-like compatibility woos 
and the platform support of intel..
