MacWarehouse lists the upcoming Color StyleWriters [picture] with prices. The
Color StyleWriter 4500 reportedly supports AppleTalk and prints a color photo
at the highest quality setting on a mid-range Power Mac in about 15
minutes. The HP equivalents are as follows:
Apple Color StyleWriter 4100: HP DeskWriter 660C
Apple Color StyleWriter 4500: HP DeskJet 690C
Apple Color StyleWriter 6500: HP DeskJet 870Cxi
I think this is good news for Apple II users. No need to get a parallel
card or serial-parallel converter!
I read in April 97 GenieLamp that Bill Heinemann would fix some bugs in
the Harmonie drivers he wrote. I can't remind if he was going to add
AppleTalk support. I bought those HP drivers directly from Vitesse some
years ago. Does anybody know when the update drivers are delivered?
