Possible? Yes-- stage a commando raid on Apple's buildings and
steal the secret documentation on this they they've never released
allowing someone else to make a driver. While you're at it, steal
the plans for the Mark Twain, the ethernet card, and GS/OS source
code. Apple has no clue what to do with them nowadays.
Probable? No.
If you're looking for a line of high quality printers that don't
change all the interface specs and protocols with each revision, may I
suggest the HP Deskjet line of parallel printers, which work with the
addition of a commercial driver. The comp.sys.apple2 Frequently Asked
Questions (FAQ) at http://www.visi.com/~nathan/a2/faq/csa2.html
sections 4.5 and 4.6 have a large list of inkjet and similar printers
that work better than things with a fruity logo on them, and info on
how to get them running.
