EGO Systems, RIP

Hi folks,

I just got a call from Diz at EGO Systems; he's clsing his mail order 
service.  :(

He's in negotations with another firm to take over his product lines, but 
EGO Systems as we know it is dead.  The reason being, as expected, there 
just weren't enough orders to keep the place open.  He said I was pretty 
much the only one who ordered anything last month.  <sigh>

I used EGO heavily in the first few weeks I had my IIGS - I ordered 
about half of their product line.  Although I didn't know the company 
very long, I'll miss it - he was extremely helpful to me, and all the 
products I purchased from him were great.

BTW, the reason he called me was to let me know that the 2 backorders I 
had - Zip GS and Animasia 3D - were being cancelled.  So, I'll be going 
to Sequential Systems for the Zip GS.  Dunno what I'll do about 
Animasia 3D...
