BJ, if you are refering to my "speculation" posts, I really do not
think that it qualifies as B.S. The Apple II and GS's past and
their parent company's neglect are valid topics for discussion. Such
a discussion is certainly better than a flame war of personal insults.

How can a discussion be worse than a Dr. Tom vs. Nathan Mates flame
war? At least we're discussing the Apple II. I did think you might
have been Randy S. posting in disguise at first, but that was only
one mistake. I'm sorry if that offended you in some way (I was REAL
careful to not put any words that could be misconstrued as insults in
my other replies to you. A disagreement on an issue is not a flame).

First of all, I didn't know you were a she until you said so. Second,
I don't believe anyone really flamed you. If you want to see one
person flaming another, see Perry D.'s replies to me in the Apple ///
thread. :)

We might be be agitated sometimes, but what do you expect when people
come in here and belittle the GS? The same reaction that you get
when a PC user goes into a Mac forum and says the Mac sucks, right?

I invite you to stay. Don't take disagreements personally. If you
don't like a thread, then skip it. I don't think we're not celebrating
the Apple IIGS when we add peripherals to it to make a powerful and
fast word processing, web browsing, and page layout workstations,
sometimes with CD-ROMs. We might make a Mac LC look bad here and there,
but that's no gripe. :)

I hope this clarifies things: I don't hold anything personally against
you.
