Andrea, I believe the answer is that the software for the Apple and
RamFAST SCSI cards for the Apple II do not support this type of
networking.  However, I read an article about the Cirtech Insyder
internal hard drive and SCSI interface (all on a single card).  The
Insyder reportedly supports exactly this.  You can plug another
computer into the SCSI port/chain of the card and the drive(s) on the
Insyder's chain will show up on the other computer's desktop.
Cirtech's product line is no longer manufactured, unfortunately.
