There is no guarantee that binscii will be installed on the host. SIS is
written for the masses, not the UNIX savvy.

SIS can't do FTP since the GS has no TCP/IP stack.

Great, use /tmp instead. Are you a sys admin's worst nightmare?

That wouldn't give you the html source nor the mime type for the page.
SIS uses a far superiour method of getting the web page.
