Ah, ok.  Clearly I misunderstood; I assumed (yeah, yeah, we all know the joke) 
that when you said "Nothing beats. . . " you weren't referring to your opinion 
but making a factual comment.  Since, in any objective category you'd care to 
name, more modern computers *do*, in fact, beat an Apple II, I made the 
"realism" remark.

The zealot comment wasn't aimed at you at all, but at the small (and vocal) 
"An-Apple-II-can-do-anything-a-Mac-or-PC-can-do-and-its-only-idiots-that-spend-
that-much-on-those-horrid-things-anyways" crowd.

Surely there's some middle ground, yes?  Between thinking the Apple ][+ was the 
be-all and end-all of computers and whining that it can't do a thing?
