Paul, you can run many things on that drive. If you have music CD's,
just put them in and select the controller desk accessory to control
it (you need to use headphones unless you have an external 2 channel
mixer for connecting both the computer and the CD-ROM drive to amplified
speakers).
For data CD's, contact Sequential Systems on the web at

They have an encyclopedia CD and some 15 other titles.
You can also check out the Shareware Solutions II homepage at

They've got HyperStudio and HyperCard collections on disc.
Then there're discs containing true-type fonts for the Mac. These
can be used on a IIGS with Pointless (an extension) and System 6.0
or greater and the HFS FST.
Finally, software archives of IIGS freeware and shareware. There's
GEM, AUGE, and the Golden Orchard.
