The best way is to format the cartridge as HFS on a Macintosh (in
otherwords, a standard Mac format). On the GS, you need to have
System 6.0.1 set up with the HFS FST installed.

Now when you stick the cartridge into the Mac, it shows up on the
Finder and you drag and drop files onto it. Eject the cartridge and
stick in into the GS's drive. Now you will see the volume on the
GS Finder. Double click on it and the drive directory appears on
the desktop. Finally, copy the files by dragging them to the floppy
or hard disk icons.

Some people have trouble with the HFS FST, but I have never had
problems with a volume as small as 44MB (not a single corruption in
two and a half years of heavy daily use on a volume slightly more
than double this size in fact).

This is MUCH easier than trying to get PC Exchange on the Mac to
read a ProDOS volume larger than a 1.44MB floppy (which involves
special drivers and stuff).
