Re: Mark Twain Video Now Available

Here's my thoughts on the alledged GS/OS v6.0.2 that Joe Kohn refers to
as having a copy of.

(A) If Joe has the legal right to possess and show such an alledged
GS/OS v6.0.2, then why doesn't he simply make it avialable to everybody
that wants a copy also?

(B) If such an alledged GS/OS v6.0.2 really does exist (even without the
src. codes) concluding that it does include valid improvements over the
GS/OS v6.0.1 release - if allowed by Apple Computer, Inc. - it whould be
logical to make such an alledged GS/OS v6.0.2 available to everybody
else (besides Joe Kohn) that wants it.

(C) Having to pay $20 for a video to simply see something which you have
no way of actually obtaining, varifying the reality of such a thing or
using on your computer (such as the alledged GS/OS v6.0.2) really seems
like a waste of money and effort to me.

(D) IMHO - I've seen many instances of alledged programs for the IIGS
having been lost forever - with the general excuse that the hard drive
crashed and the program and/or it's src. codes were lost, with no other
back-up of such available. I personally think such an excuse is nothing
more than a general cop-out to cover the facts that such a thing never
really existed.

(E) If there actually is such a thing as a -REAL- GS/OS v6.0.2 that
exist then those that really have it should prove that it exist, make it
available to the general public and IIGS users and list/document exactly
what real improvements, updates and additions exist with it -vs- the
GS/OS v6.0.1 release.

Until I see such -PROOF- I'll simply have to conclude that the claims of
Joe Kohn really having such a valid update of the GS/OS v6.0.2 - is
nothing more than a ploy and hyped technique presented to the general
IIGS public via posts to promote and stimulate the sale of his video.

I look forward to your comments, with some form of valid -PROOF- and
reply concerning this alledged GS/OS v6.0.2.

Cheers,
Tom
