You are right.  I went back and read the "Extended 80-column Text Card
Supplement."  I never knew about this jumper.  But having double hi-res with a
video card doesn't ruin programs with standard graphics.  The manual implies
that using the jumper will render regular graphics incorrectly.  Is this the case?
