Believe it or not, I can send stuff between Linux on my pentium box
and ProTERM on my GS at 38400, using a bare minimal 3-wire cable.
(Grounds connectued, and receive/xmit on both ends). ZModem works
great for moving stuff-- I just log into my PC, and sz stuff.
I think windoze'd probably puke w/o handshaking, but my transfers
go at over 3K/sec, no reported errors.
