    It was a co-processor board being developed by Cirtech, that when 
installed inside an Apple IIgs, would allow it to emulate and run 
Macintosh software. Basically the same idea as the AE PC-Transporter
but it would be a "Mac-Transporter". :)

    It was cancelled several years back, though not many details on
the card or how close it came a finished product surfaced. I recall
Cirtech claiming the IIgs market had grown too small, but I suspect
other factors were involved (ie, the 640x200 limit of the GS; one
could buy a faster/better desktop Mac at the fraction of the estimated
cost for a stand-alone Duet card).
