Actually, that's not necessarily so about the 3.5 disks.  You'll find a 
number of people here who find HD 3.5 disks to be 100% unreadable in their 
3.5 drives.  Though you'll find other who swear they work great. It 
apparently varies greatly from drive to drive.  You pays your money and 
you takes your chances.  IMHO it's a foolish thing to use HD disks when DD 
disks ARE readily available if you are willing to mail order them.

Both 3.5 and 5.25 DD disks are readily available via mail order at very 
good prices.  I know I've seen them in several different catalogs that 
show up at my door.  I've been buying from MEI/Micro for years.
