The CD-ROM drive I have cost me all of $39 at Alltech Electronics.
Considering that I also recently purchased a 3.5" disk drive from Alltech
for $199, the CD-ROM drive was a bargain.

Shareware Solutions II does have 2 CD-ROM disks for sale now, but
considering that they've only been available for a little over a week, I
can't really comment yet about how popular CD-ROMs are for the Apple II
marketplace. I can tell you that about 20 were sold at Kfest, and that
was a pleasant surprise.

That said...the 2 collections of Hypermedia software that SSII sells on
CD-ROM remain available on 3.5" disk as well.
