Actually, I refer to my IIGS by her name, Karma. I thought that would
make her sound a bit more personalized than just 'The IIGS'. Anyone else
name their systems? :)

Karma just recently got mistaken for a Mac. A few weeks ago, we were
scouting out local ISPs, trying to get a nice shell account. One of the
places we checked out declared that they were discontinuing shell
accounts because no one uses them anymore (Guess us II users are
considered no one, eh?) Anyway, when we told them that we were using a
IIGS, they said, 'Oh. You have a Mac?' We then went into a long
dissertation about what a GS was and was not. Finally, after we thought
they got it into their 300bps brains that there is such a thing as Apple
II, some other employee came in and he was promptly told that we have a
Mac. All we could do then was leave in disgust. What happened to the
days when people in the computer industry were required to have some
degree of intelligence?
Well, that's my ][ cents worth. O:3
