I can't offer any suggestions except to swap the drives, and you've done
that.

I =think= (never owned one) that the Duodisk requires a mod before both
drive can be found in a daiy-chain.

You're using ProDOS 2.0.3, right? Earlier versions than 2.0 don't remap.

I don't have any ideas beyond trying the UDC in all slots 4-7 and swapping
your stuff into another computer and see what happens. Sorry.
