Repairing C-Vue LCD display

I just bought a C-Vue flat panel LCD display, unfortunately it seems
to be missing a few components and in need of repair. First problem is
the video ribbon cable, the part that is soldered to the analog circuit
board is partly ripped out. As well, the DB15 connector (clip-on?) is
missing from the other end. Is there anything special about the video
cable or is it just a straight-thru? (Just curious if I can locate the
parts at Radio Shack and have someone re-solder a replacement connector).

The next concern is it appears there used to be a stand which would
allow you to dock and mount the flat panel screen to the top of a IIc.
My C-Vue only has a short bar below it, used for tilting the display.
Was this originally in two pieces or was it all one at one time (I hope
not the latter, which would mean the plastic was broken off). I don't
suppose anyone out there has spare parts, or does repairs on LCD IIc
displays? (I'm really interested in repairing it, I've been wanting one
of these for *years*! Besides, it would make a nice addition to my new
Apple IIc Plus! :)
