The original ROM 00 and Rom 1 motherboards in EARLY production had
plugs so that the //e power supply and keyboard could be attached.

However, you can't "really" put a IIgs in a //e case without half
of a new case.  the boards are different enough, and the back panel
is incompatible (without a Dremel or similar).

If you're adventurous, call Alltech and investigate the cost of a ROM 1
motherboard.

If you're less adventurous, get a case and power supply from them too.

If you're SMART, get a case and motherboard from Alltech and a heavy-duty
power supply from Steven Buggie.

If you're _really_ smart, watch CSA2.marketplace for a used IIgs system.
That will include drives, monitor, ram expansion, possibly a printer, etc.
All for less than you'd ever have to pay new.
