First problem: PC and Apple II 5.25" disk formats are different at
a hardware level. You will need specialized (and rare) addon hardware
to be able to transfer disks. Better is stuff over a serial line, but
you need comm software for that.

There's very little of that at all in that class. Most to all of
the stuff for that agegroup was commercial. I don't know of any stuff
online that really fits that category but some other people might.

Software won't cut it. You need hardware to overcome the differences.
That's why I recommended serial earlier.
