This question goes out to those familiar with RamFAST and
accelerator hardware: Each time I boot my GS about 1/2 way
through the boot process the system crashes to the monitor. I
always just press control-reset and the boot process repeats
itself, this time successfully. This is always how my boot
process occurs. What gives?
I believe that it is related to the system attempting to
recognize my Zip drive during the boot process. The system
boots from the hard drive connected to an Apple SCSI card.
During the boot process, my Zip drive which is connected to my
RamFAST card is polled. There is always a working disk in it,
and it always works after I get through the crash and reboot.
Do I need to adjust the DIP switch settings on the accelerator?
Thanks,
