Congratulations!  You have a vintage X-10 ultrasonic interface
card!

No kidding--the thimble-like thing contains a 40KHz ultrasonic
transducer that, when placed near a BSR X-10 control console
equipped with an ultrasonic receiver (most early ones were),
can transmit commands to the control console which relays them
to the power lines to control various X-10 modules.

If you don't know what an X-10 module is, then it won't be much
use to you.  ;-)  And you're going to need some software that
came with the card, which someone *here* may know about...
