I have a question. I have tried and succeeded at transfering files from my
Laser 128EX onto a 3.5" disk with DSK2FILE and then onto a PC. The files are
complete and intact but I can't seem to get any files back to my computer.
I get I/O errors tring to view the files using the file viewer in Copy II+. My
own attempts at find the data have also been unsuccessful.
I was using a Powermac to write the data to the disks. I know fairly little
about the System 7.5. I was wondering if the drive on the powermacs is even
capable of writing the data in prodos 8 format. Or if I need to change the
file types with a resource editor before writing them to my prodos disk or if
there is conversion program out there that I could use to put my files onto a
disk.
I have access to some SE's and some Mac Classic. Is there any software
available to use those machines to transfer the files and if so where could I
obtain it.
Thanks in advance.
Matt
