Wow!  I've heard of that board!  As I recall, you can run standard A][
software using the IBM-type drive, but certain copy-protection schemes
require things that the IBM drives can't do (half-tracking comes to
mind...), but the card lets you hook up a Disk ][.

Hmmm...Theoretically, you ought to be able to hook the Trackstar up to
your 80486 machine and use the emulator that came with it, and not even
bother with disk images.  In theory, the answer to your question SHOULD be
"yes", but it all depends on whether you can transfer data to and from the
native OS while the Trackstar is running.  It's been a long time since I
saw one!
