Re: 3.5" drives & daisy-chaining DuoDisks

mulling and musing on the info he's provided:

:-( bit of a bummer. I think I'll go for an older card, regular 800k disks
are fine with me, I'll still be able to transfer files to & from my Mac.

It seems that the Universal Disk Controller the closest a //e can get to a
IIc or IIgs disk port. Did Apple ever make a card like this?

Yikes! This is one I gotta avoid. And, y'know, if I see a drive & card at
a swap meet, it will probably be this one.


I think a Universal Disk Controller is the card I want, does any one know
if they're hard to come by? Is anyone out there using one with a 3.5"
drive and a DuoDisk?
