    If the hard disk once worked okay but then began to crash, the fix may
be pretty easy. According to the HD experts on this ngrp, you should try
flipping the drive upside down. (Maybe it would be a good idea to reformat
after the flip, too.)  If your problems go away, fine. Otherwise, try a
90-degree flip.
