   I got it working just fine. I think the problem may have been that
on the GS and //e, pin 1 was in opposite corners, but it's been a darn
long time since I played around with that. If this is the problem,
turn the cable around before plugging it in-- if it used to go off
towards the back, plug it towards the front.
