Yes, but only via a serial connection.  Unfortunately, neither of the
two available driver packages (Harmonie from Vitesse, and Independence
from Seven Hills) support the use of the DeskWriter over AppleTalk.  HP
does not provide drivers for the IIgs.

If you do order one of these packages, make sure you mention your
interest in an AppleTalk driver.  If we keep hounding them, maybe one of
them will finally write one.

I was able to hack the AppleTalk port driver to recognize the
DeskWriter, so I believe it is quite possible, but a new port driver is
required.
