Two possible uses immediately come to mind:

1. Using it as a file server.  If you already have a hard drive on the
   IIgs, and you don't have other computers to network to, this doesn't
   mean much.

2. Using it to exchange files with other computers.  The Classic would be
   able to read/write MS-DOS, ProDOS and Mac disks (double density and
   high density).  You could also run software on the Mac to deal with
   file formats that are not supported on the Apple II.

There are probably more Mac games than IIgs games by now, especially
newer ones.  A Classic would not be able to use most of them, though -
the minimum requirement is usually a colour Mac with a 68030 or later
processor for most of the major current games.
