for the good side of this stability, let me just say that my system seems 
to run just fine (except for the occasional trouble when powering up or 
hitting reset.)

rom1 gs, audio animator, zipgs 9/64, bluedisk, turboide, 4 meg ram card 
(sequential), and ss driving an svga monitor. in a tower case with a 
suitably big power supply.
