Upgrading Apple 3.5->Apple SuperDrive

	I've been offered a SuperDrive 1.44MB mechnism from a Macintosh IIx;
just the bare drive unit taken from the CPU case. Now before I purchase it,
I'd like to confirm if transplanting in into one of my old Apple 3.5 (800k)
drives would be completely safe and compatible. And if so, how difficult is it
to reconnect the daisy-chain board, r/w LED, power and eject button from the
old drive, onto the new mechnism? I'd of course be purchasing a controller from
ABC Direct if I do this, which would probably be the same or even less than the
BlueDisk setup. Not too mention would be a more elegant solution if it works. :)

	Oh, one other thing. I'd hate to have to ruin a perfectly good Apple 3.5
drive just to borrow it's external enclosure. If anyone out there has a dead
drive (either Apple 3.5 or SuperDrive) and has a extra enclosure to spare,
please let me know.
