Yeah, lynx doesn't recognize that .shk means the file is binary, so it 
sends it to you as text (7-bit). You're screwed.

The solution, as printed in SSII a couple months back, is to create a 
file in your home directory called '.mime.types'. The file should look 
like this:

application/x-Shrinkit shk SHK sdk SDK
application/x-BinaryII bny BNY bqy BQY bxy BXY
