Re: Music Composer v4.00

I have a question for you sheet music writers.

I'm just learning this for the progam I'm writing, so you'll have to bear
with me if I don't use the proper terminology.

When Music Composer picks a note to display all it has is the note value
(60 for middle C). A C sharp is the same as a D flat. Music composer has
to decide which to display it as ( assuming we're not in a key where C
would be sharp or D would be flat). I have a pair of radio buttons you can
set to choose for such occasions. But I'd like to know if you are in a
sharp key would you write notes as flat? And vice versa. If not this is
one less thing Music Composer would have to check for.

In other words if in the key of D (Sharp right?), then note value 63 would
always be displayed as D with a sharp symbol and not E with a flat symbol.
And of course 61 (C sharp) would be shown without any symbol. Thanks for
your help.
