hard drive problem; seeking help
I have been having major hard drive problems. Off and on, I have extreme
cases where my partitions get many sudden problems. Deliverance shows errors
such as "data block already in use, invalid storage type, file structure
damaged, illegal charachters in filename, incorrect block count, bad file
count, etc.) I have had times where deliverance would find over two hundred
such errors in one 30 meg partition. On occasion, it crashes while trying to
repair the partition.
I have a ramfast scii card, a shadow hard drive, and 5 1/4 megs of RAM.
(Apple piggybacked to a CVTech GS memory board.) The system self test checks
okay.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks, Andy
