I personally recommend 6.01 over 6.0 by far. It doesn't require more
memory, so don't worry about that, and runs a lot smoother in general.
New software being released may not be compatible with 6.0, and since
it's free, there's no reason not to get it. The majority of the changes
are finder enhancements and bug fixes. Finder changes include keyboard
navigation, a "magic" system folder that will automatically put things in
the right sub-folder, built in aliasing, support for clipboard sounds,
and some other minor upgrades. Other upgrades include control panel
fixes, a MS-DOS FST (if you have a compatible drive) and the ability to
boot straight into ProDOS 8 at the press of a key. All in all, it's
worth it.
