Why get 6.01?

Folks,

	I have an appleIIgs with a harddrive.  My apple card is filled with
memory.  I have the 3.5 and 5.25 drives and a modem that I use to
connect with the Unix box at the college I teach at.

	I maily use this for word processing.  I use a DOS 3.3 Magic Window.
It is old but I bought it and it works, plus Graphics writer and teach
on the GSOS side.  Currently I am using 6.00  What advantage do I get
with 6.01 if any?  Can I run it without more memory.  If I really need
more memory where do I put it?  I don't want to lose what I have.  A bit
more memory would help. Spectrum likes it better if I boot with the
shift key down, but then you can't play solitare when you are bored. 

Appreciate any feedback. I find the computer does just what I need to
get done at home - so am not sure I want to switch all my files to
something else and spend tons for a different home computer.
