Page Down???

I need some help.

I'm using a //gs with Proterm v3.1 (Standard GS keyboard)
Also using ANSI BBS emulation.

When calling the unix machine at work I get connected, logon and
in general use the system just fine. The problem is to take many
of the reports from the system, I need to press the Page down key
before I can see them.

Of course we all know that the GS keyboard lacks that key. 
According to the ProTerm v3.1 manual I can use the keyboard
emulation to get that page down key. If I'm using ANSI BBS
emulation according to the book I should be able to press
"Option-3" to get page down.

It doesn't work.  Any ideas????  
Am I reading the manual wrong?
