I seem to recall talking to eBay support about getting verified and they mentioned that I could use a debit card with a Visa or Mastercard logo and that just confused the heck out of me. If I have a card with a Visa or Mastercard logo, it is a credit card. If it is from my bank, I believe it is possible to also link my chequeing and/or savings accounts on that card and use it as a debit card as well but, at least in Canada, I've never seen a debit only card with a Visa or Mastercard logo.
