IIRC, when I set up my eBay account, where I am a merchant seller, I had
used my checking account to verify me. I, also, don't have a credit card,
however, my Visa Check Card works very nicely, and it doesn't cost me an
arm and a leg in fees every month. It just takes the funds from checking
when I use to make purchases.
