Fair enough. Let me point out, though, that of the three CompUSA stores
that are located where I can reasonably visit them, all sell Macintoshes
and not one has a single employee that knows beans about them.
I assume that these three stores hire people on the basis of their
knowledge of PCs, and don't pay any attention to the "sidelines." But in
all probability there is a lot of regional variation (after all, the
salespersons are presumably hired by different managers at different
stores).
