Re: ProLine on Apple II+

Hi Norman!
One thing I thought was kinda neat about ProLine when I
first set it up was it looked like it could be used from a ][+. It's
fun to hear someone is actually running a ProLine site with a plus :)
One thing you might try is calling your BBS from a remote site and
seeing what it looks like for your users. My guess is your 40 column
display doesn't effect their's, which means the display problem
you're seeing is a pain for only the sysop (sadly, you). I'm running a
little ProLine BBS with a IIe I put together from bits'n pieces and
have a bit of a problem since I've only got 5.25" floppies hooked
up to it (the BBS software is on a Sider). I've thought about hooking
the modem up through a switch box to make it easy to null-modem my
IIc+ up to it to make transferring files from a 3.5" drive easier.
You might be able to do the same to take care of SysOp stuff. Other
than that, you might give Morgan a call or drop him a note via his
email address.

Have fun!

John
