There was an ethernet card for the IIGS?  How come it was never available?
Wouldn't that sort of thing on a GS (which can be bought for a couple of
hundred dollars now) be a cheap way into a network?  Would it be possible
for anyone (QC?) to produce this card?  
I for one would definitly be interested.
