IWEM help needed

Greetings, I'm looking for some hints on how to get the Imagewriter
Emulator for a postscript printer to work.

I have been able to download the program to the printer and get the "IWEM
Installed" startup page but that's it.

How is the printer supposed to be connected to the GS? I have been using a
serial printer connection for downloading the IWEM and to use the IW
driver.

Any hints or tips would be appreciated.
