   Apple hates us. The Ethernet card for the IIGS (and probably the //
also) was designed, and an initial batch of cards (enough to stick in
some wharehouse somewhere) was created. Apple really wanted to kill
off the Apple II at this point, and decided not to let the general
public at them.

   If you can get it out of apple, I'd applaud your efforts. Ain't gonna
happen though

   At least 1/3 of the people reading this group would spend $150-200
for one. Apple could make some quick $$$ real fast. What a shame.
